Alexander Tapling

Xander Tapling joined Hale Law, LLC in 2017 after graduating from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC. Mr. Tapling practices civil rights litigation, including supporting Hale Law’s pro bono prisoner litigation efforts. Mr. Tapling worked as a public policy analyst during his time in law school, and worked on issues such as consumer privacy and “Net Neutrality.” Originally from Park Ridge, a suburb of Chicago, Mr. Tapling graduated from Northwestern University, cum laude, with a double major in political science and German business studies. In his free time, Mr. Tapling assists artists in pro bono matters through Lawyers for the Creative Arts, and volunteers with local theatres on the North Side. He also serves as Legislative Liaison for the Creative Arts Committee of the Chicago Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section.
